Christmobile Gets Win!!! 8/31/02

NASCAR Driver Drives Christmobile!!

 NASCAR driver Roger Parker substituted for Brandon Saturday night August 31st because Brandon had a family reunion.  The car had been good, just not real good.  We made a few changes Saturday night and was able to get the pole for the fast heat race. The 25 car was on the outside pole and we knew if he got us on the start we may not be able to beat him.  Well the green flag dropped and Roger got a good start and took the lead and never looked back! 

The 22 car charged hard and almost got us in turn 3 and 4 he got the inside and it was  door to door to the checkered flag, Roger was able to get a little more out of the Christmobile to beat him by about 3 feet.  Great job Roger!!!

This is our first win this year, Brandon had a 3rd place finish and that night we thought we had a shot at winning, we almost had the lead but we had a bad tire and fell back to second and then third and finished there.
